Son of Monroe Evans Dunn and Sally Blaylock Dunn. Husband of Gretta Margo Whitson Dunn.

Mr. Kenny Ray Dunn, age 67 of Quebeck, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Born Monday, December 27, 1948 in Doyle, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Monroe Dunn and the late Sallie Blaylock Dunn. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal.
Kenny was a "Jack of all Trades". He could build, make or fix anything. His occupation was a toolmaker and tool & die / mold engineer. He was owner and operator of Tennessee Business systems and a retired instructor at Tennesse Technology Center in McMinnville. Kenny was a previous member of the Tennessee Board of Regents. He was also an active member of the Robinson Chapel Church. Kenny was a lover of music, his favorite was bluegrass. His favorite pastimes were playing his guitar and banjo and being with his family and grandkids.

Funeral services for Mr. Dunn will be held at 11am, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Speakers at the service will be Larry Wilmoth, R.C. Christian, Bill Lowery, Kelly Stockton and Jeff Wilson. Burial will follow in Robinson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, May 23rd, from 4-8pm at the funeral home.

Surviving family members include:
wife - Gretta Whitson Dunn of Quebeck
two daughters - Jackie Atkinson and husband Jon of Sparta
Cadie Clouse and husband Kyle of Quebeck
grandchildren - Audrey Lynn Clouse, Owen Lee Clouse,
Knox Maverick Atkinson and Leisel Anne Atkinson
brother - Lloyd Dunn and wife Barbara of Doyle
sisters-in-law -- Norma Dunn of Doyle
Dean Dunn of Sparta
brother-in-law -- Terry Whitson and wife Sharon of Sparta
Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by a sister, Roselle Brock; two brothers, R.L. Dunn and Willie Lee Dunn.
