Georgia Lee Wolpert Henson successfully completed her work here on Earth on May 16th, 2016. Her job began on September 5th, 1941 when she was born to George and Pearl Wolpert. Her mission included being a wonderful and loving mother to five children, Belinda Henson, Duane Henson, Marlana (Henson) Wyatt, David Henson, and Loralinda Kay Henson. She was also an incredibly loving sister to Patricia Gerhardt and Carol Werner. Her parents, sister Carol, and granddaughter, Cheri Osorio finished their mission before Georgia and now rejoice as she joins them. In addition, she worked hard as a grandmother to fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. It took her 74 years to complete her work of art. The Lord called her home to a brand new mission in Heaven. She could hardly wait to arrive to her new assignment as the benefits are incredible. There will be a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Everyday there will be feast without worry of weight gain or health consequences and rejoicing and happiness are unlimited. She will be listening to her favorite songs, socializing and laughing with friends and family she has sorely missed. The new job includes a uniform that never fades, rips or tears and is beautiful beyond comprehension. We will miss her dearly as she has accepted this offer only the Lord can give. She was funny, loving, compassionate, and completely dedicated to her children and grandchildren. Her laughter was contagious and her love was warm and forgiving. We invite you to celebrate her life and her new journey into a life that never ends. There will be a visitation at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd., Ross, Ohio 45014 on Thursday, May 19th from 11 am until time of funeral service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
