Linda Lou Roach, 68, of Shenandoah, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2016. Linda was born on July 1, 1947 in Harrisonburg, and was the daughter, of the late John and Mamie Leake Sites.

Linda grew up in Harrisonburg and worked at Shenandoah Poultry. Linda also worked part-time at Food Lion in Elkton, until she retired. She was also a homemaker, where she enjoyed taking care of her husband and children. Linda enjoyed singing and listening to gospel music. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her husband of fifty years, children and grandchildren. She was a loyal member of Ray of Hope Church for many years.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Junior Leon Roach; son, Alan Roach and wife, Manuela of Stanardsville; three daughters, Stephanie Bryant and husband, Mark of Shenandoah, Sheila McDaniel and husband, Brian of Stanardsville and Jennifer Roach of Shenandoah; brother, James Sites and wife, Betty; three sisters, Carolyn Fitzwater and husband, John of Dayton, Diana Guyer and husband, Steve of Harrisonburg, Jeanie Meadows and husband, Steve of Fredericksburg; five grandchildren, Travis and fiance', Tawnie Clark, Monica Cubbage and husband, Spencer, Hannah McDaniel, Tyler and Christopher Moquin; four great grandchildren, Maddoxx Roach, Parker Cubbage, Skylar and Tasia Clark.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Ray of Hope Church in Harrisonburg with Pastor Jimmy Kite officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Ray of Hope Church in Harrisonburg.
