"Shelbyville, December 20 - W.F. Beem, of Little Rock, Arkansas, a brother of C.E. Beem, of this city, and himself a resident of Shelbyville, some time ago, died in his home in the southern state, Saturday, and the funeral was held Sunday. Mr. Beem was the son of the late L.C. Beem. He was born September 12, 1873, and made this county his home until he was about 20 years old, and at that time he went to Arkansas which he has called home since then.
He married Miss Cora Throckmorton of Bradford, Arkansas, in 1895, and they became parents of 6 children. For the last 2 years, Mr. Beem had been in ill health. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his mother and brother who live in this city."
