Doyl's Cause of Death was Congestive Heart Failure. An other Significant Condition was a Fracture of the Femur.

Doyl was born on October 7, 1901 in Greer County (Now Harmon County), Oklahoma, 9 miles Southeast of Hollis. He was the 11th of 14 children born to James Overton Hill Jr. and the 3rd child born to his mother, Mary Parolee He was the son of James Overton Hill Jr and Mary Parolee "Minnie" (Woolley) Woods Hill.

I'm researching to get more information on the child that was born alive to Mary Parolee Woolley, that later died. I don't know if the child's father was Degrafton Woods or JO Hill.

He never married and never had any children.

In 1908, he came to Texas from Oklahoma in a covered wagon, a hack (a manned railroad car at the end of a train, a "caboose"), and a buggy (a carriage that is drawn by 1 horse). The real danger was quicksand, said his brother, Lemual Waydelle Hill.

They settled in San Angelo, Texas, when he was 6, almost 7. In 1920, at age 18, he was a clerk in a grocery store, and in 1930, Doyl was a clerk in the Post Office. On September 5, 1942, he enlisted in the Army in World War II, in Abilene, Texas, as a Private and a Warrant Officer. He was a Film Editor for a Motion Picture. After Doyl was released from the Army, he worked for the railroad. He was an express messenger and railway mail clerk. After Doyl retired, he lived in Puerto Rico for a while, following the baseball games. Doyl also traveled to Voldenham, Holland.

Doyl was living in Houston, Texas, at the time of his death. He and his sister, Dena Dill Hill, shared an apartment. He passed away at the Methodist Hospital, in Houston, Texas. His funeral was at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and he was laid to rest on April 10, 1985, in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Doyl was preceded in death by his parents, James Overton Hill Jr and Mary Parolee "Minnie" Woods Hill, and all of his siblings, except Dena Hill. He was survived by his sister, Dena Dill Hill, of Houston, Texas, and many extended family members.
