Pamela (Farnsworth) French, 86, of West Hartford, CT, beloved wife for 63 years of John C. French III, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

Born on July 25, 1929 in Hartford, Pamela was the daughter of the late Francis and Eleanor (Wells) Farnsworth.

Pamela was an especially kind and gentle person who loved her family, her job as a special education teacher, and spending time with friends. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Town and County Club.

In addition to her husband John; Pamela is survived by her two children, John C. French IV of Jericho, VT and Pamela Kromm of Winchester, MA. She leaves six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Calling hours will be held TODAY, Friday, May 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. at The D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield, CT 06109. Family and friends are invited to a grave side ceremony at Cedar Hill Cemetery (Section 9) in Hartford, Saturday, May 21st at 11 a.m. To share a memory with the family, please visit www.desopo.com.
