He was born June 24, 1938, in Faucett, Mo., son of Vida and Orbah "Buddy" Roach. He graduated from Benton High School. He was the owner and operator of Gary Roach Auctioneering. He loved his horses, raising cattle, farming, was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, and was a Baptist.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jon Roach; and a sister, Gail Kelley.
Survivors include two daughters; Tracy (Randy) Willy of Faucett, Mo.; Terri Roach of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sons, Rod (Jennifer) Roach of Dearborn, Mo.; and Kyle Roach of Dearborn, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Willy, Ryan Willy, Riley roach, Gracie Roach, Josie Roach, Kasie Roach, and Courtney Lawson; two brothers, Arlen Roach and Jim Roach of St. Joseph.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday a the Rupp Chapel, with Chaplain David Ernst officiating.
Inurnment at Faucet Cemetery, at a later date.
