Mrs. Louise Garner Hunter, age 85, of Marietta, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016. She was born March 15, 1931 in Winston, GA, the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Arelice Garner and the late Mrs. Mary Lovella Washington Garner.
Mrs. Hunter was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister who was cherished by her family. She enjoyed working in retail jewelry sales for many years. She was known for her outstanding creativity which she expressed through her sewing, ceramics, crocheting and cake decorating skills. Mrs. Hunter will be remembered for her generous spirit and dedication to her family. She was the first to lend a hand and help the ones she loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmon Frank Hunter; brothers William Grady Garner, Robert Jaynell Garner; sisters Willie Ruth Garner, Effie Mae Hicks, Kathy Yvonne Garner.
She is survived by her sons Roger Hunter of Alpharetta and Rick Hunter of Marietta; her brother William Jaynell “Dub” Garner of Villa Rica; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
