Brian J. Gordon, 57, passed away on Tuesday at the VA Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Brian was born on June 21, 1958 the son of the late Vernon and Verna Mae Gordon. Brian served in the US Army and was manager at Applebee's. He was previous owner of Brian's Creekside Inn, Marcellus. Brian is survived by daughters, Sarah (Jonathon) Just, Renee (Keith) Pickering, fiance, Margaret Shaver and her son Mark,sister, Diane (Scott) Kincaid, brother, Wayne (Gina) Gordon, twin sister, Beverly (Lyn) Todd, and sister, Marie (Ellis) Whitmarsh. He was predeceased by his sister, Teresa. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday 10 a.m. at St Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the VA Medical Center.
