George J. Last, 77, of Manitowoc Health Care Center, died early Sunday morning, Feb. 3, at the center. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Robert Rhyner will officiate and burial will be in Pioneers Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Last was born Feb. 22, 1903, at Two Rivers, son of the late Charles and Anna Rezach Last. He was graduated from Two Rivers High School and married Viola Konop in 1928. He had been a meat cutter and then for many years was a member of Two Rivers Police Department. Mrs. Last preceded him in death about five years ago. He was a member of Knights of Columbus of Two Rivers.
Survivors include a brother, Arthur Last of Jacksonville, Fla., a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Angeline) Kronforst of Mishicot and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters preceded him in death. Members of Two Rivers Police Department will be pallbearers for Mr. Last.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels after 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
