Mrs. Miranda Stone died in the home of her son, George Stone of Hoopeston, Ill. Sunday night and will be buried in the Rose cemetery at Lane Tuesday at 3 o'clock. Funeral services will be in the Christian church of which she had been a loyal member since childhood.
Miranda was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Zekial Lane and was born in the vicinity of Lane and passed all her life there until the death of her husband twelve years ago. One daughter, Mrs. Laura Matthews, died 3 years ago.
