Teresa P. Bowers-Kerr (nee Smith), age 82 of Beverly, passed away Sun Jan 26, 2003 at Alterra-Clarebridge Assisted Living Center in Westampton.
Mrs. Kerr was born in Elizabeth, NJ and had been a resident of Delanco since 1956 until moving to Beverly a short time ago. Teresa was a parishioner of the St Peter's RC Church in Riverside, a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Prudentia 484 and an avid gardener and Phila Phillies fan.
Mrs. Kerr is the widow of her first husband Calvin "Roy" Bowers and her second husband James Kerr. Teresa is the loving mother of Patricia (Edwin) Yeckley of Beverly and Catherine (Horace) Nelson of Pittsgorve. She is the proud grandmother of Jennifer and Timothy Yeckley, at home in Beverly, William and John Nelson of Pittsgrove and four great grandchildren.
Litury of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wed 10:30am at St Peter's Church. Interment will follow at St Peter's Cemetery & Mausoleum, Riverside. Visitation will be Wed 9:30-10:30am at the church.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Samaritan Hospice.
