Stanley W. Warner of 236 Second St. Weatherly, died unexpectedly yesterday morning at 7 am in his home. Born in Weatherly February 22, 1894, he was the son of the late Senator Elmer and Martha Ann Kresge Warner. He was a member of Salem UCC in Weatherly. Prior to his retiring six years ago, he was assistant superintendent of Pa. Department of Highways. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Verna Snell in June of 1969 and a son Roy S. a pilot with the US Air Force, WWII, who was killed in China. Surviving are a son Ambrose, Hanover; two brothers, John, Alexandria, Va. and Dr. George Warner, Reno, Nevada and the following sisters, Mrs. Ruth Learn, Burtonsville, MD, Mrs. Jennie Wistrich, Bethlehem; Mrs. Henry, Grace Gangwer, Weatherly, Mrs. Gertrude Farrell and Mrs. A. A. Brandtley, both of Silver Springs, MD. Also two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral 11 am Friday. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
