Born in Horry County, SC, he was a son of the late Lenwood and Ivey Perry.
Mr. Perry enjoyed his grandchildren, auto racing and fishing.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Jean Perry of Myrtle Beach; daughters, Sheryl and husband Takashi Saito of Myrtle Beach and Debbie Perry of Atlanta, GA; a son, Harold “Boo” Perry of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Kimi and Chris Barnes, Mari and Donovan Gibbs and Perry Saito; great grandchildren, Samson Perry Saito, Luna Saito and Hayden Barnes; a brother, Joe Perry; sisters, Ida McCormick, Pauline Eason, Sue Simpson, Ruby White Perry and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Palmetto Shores Church.
Burial will be held at Ocean Woods Cemetery following the service.
