Woodrow Wilson Jarrett, 88, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on May 17, 2016, in Charleston, WV.

He was born on October 23, 1927, in Charleston, WV, son of the late Alva Clinton and Mabel Esther Hunt Jarrett.

Woodrow was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Chelyan, WV, and a member of the North United Methodist Church in Ravenswood. He was employed as a mechanic at Kaiser Aluminum, and retired from Constellium in Ravenswood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ruth Jarrett, Ravenswood, WV; son, Monty Evan Jarrett, Charleston, WV; daughters, Lori Lyn Nuhfer, Williamstown, WV, and Lisa Carol Jarrett, Ravenswood, WV; grandchildren, Tracy Jarrett, Megan Seagraves, Aaron Jarrett, Katy Nuhfer, Jessica Nuhfer, Sarah Montague, Michael Sullivan, Susan Nuhfer, and Erin Carr; and great-grandchildren, Jensen Montague, Alaina Montague, Brody Ferdon, Jillian Carr, and Jenna Carr.

Services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Don Maxson officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Services provided by Ashton Lodge #12 in Ravenswood and Graveside Military Rites provided by Jackson County Honor Guard.

Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, May 20, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
