Susan I. Nicholson, 86, Oshkosh, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at The Bridges of Appleton. She was born June 20, 1929, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Clarence and Daisy (Kilbey) Marx. On April 12, 1947 Sue married Robert Nicholson, and he preceded her in death on August 4, 1967. Sue was employed with the Winnebago State Hospital for many years until her retirement, and later worked for 4 Imprint. She enjoyed traveling and visited many of the states, as well as Canada and Europe. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and kitties, and was very active with her church, Glad Tidings Tabernacle.

Sue is survived by her children: Sue Ann Stueber, Carol “Ginger” Lett, Robert J. Jr. Nicholson, Ruth Nicholson, and Nancy (Ken) Raabe; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clarence (Margaret) Marx; and a sister, Betty (Willard) Raddatz.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh), with Rev. Collin Hughes officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.
