The pride and joy and the love of his life were his two children, Emma Jade Gordon and Jeremy C. Gordon II. Also surviving are brothers, J.W. Gordon and wife, Katrina of Shenandoah, Michael Shiflett of Luray; sister, Amanda Shiflett of Charlottesville; friend and stepbrothers, Aaron Campbell and Ryan Michael of Shenandoah.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Wright.
He was previously employed by Sullivan Mechanical and was a graduate of Massanutten Vo-Tech, with a degree in Heating & Air Conditioning. He was working as an independent contractor. Besides his love of work and his children, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at River Crest Farm, 7384 East Point Road,(Route 602) near Elkton. Burial will be private. Friends may call at his parent's homes at any time.
Arrangements are being handled by Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
