Carrie L. Lowe, 66, of Oliver Springs, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, at NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Lowe was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church of Oliver Springs. She was a homemaker.
Born March 5, 1933, in the Devonia community of Anderson County, she was the daughter of Alonzo and Gertie Bray Seiber.Mrs. Lowe had lived in Oliver Springs for the past 36 years.She is survived by her husband, Ralph Lowe; four children, John Wesley Lowe, James Lowe and his wife, Angela, Leon Seiber and his wife, Joan, and Marilyn Sue Seiber and her husband, Ronnie, all of Oliver Springs; five grandchildren, Michael Lively, Misty Lively, Amy Hail, Sheena Lowe and Skyler Lowe; and four great-grandchildren, Jonathan Lively, McKayla Lively, Aaron Hall and Angel Lively.Mrs. Lowe is also survived by two sisters, Annette Morrison of Oliver Springs and Glenna Bratcher and her husband, Frank, of Lake City; two brothers, Harley Seiber and his wife, Pauline, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Carlos Seiber and his wife, Jean, of Knoxville; and her aunt, Oma Giles of Oliver Springs.Dollie Green of Oak Ridge was considered a special friend.The funeral was to be held at 2 this afternoon, Aug. 16, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Daugherty officiating.Burial was to follow at the church cemetery.Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs is handling arrangements.
