Obituary;
Sharon Rose Kelly, 73, of Harriman, formerly of Rockwood, passed away at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
Sharon was a member of Clymersville Baptist Church in Rockwood. She was a 1960 graduate of South Harriman High School. Sharon was a retired knitter from Kayser-Roth Hosiery in Rockwood. She enjoyed walking, gardening and caring for her dog Kandie. Above all, Sharon was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Sharon was preceded in death by parents, Thomas R. and Hazel Wright; and brother, Richard Michael Wright.
She is survived by daughter, Wendy Hamby (Ross) of Rockwood; sons, Jeff Teague (Gina) of Rockwood, and Chris Kelly and special friend Wendy of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Lauren Brasel (Aaron) of Rockwood, Ryan Hamby of Rockwood, David Teague of Rockwood and Jeffrey Teague of Rockwood; two great-grandchildren, Adalynn and Riley Brasel; brothers, Tom Wright (Rita) of Maryville and Steven Wright (Pat) of Sevierville; sister, Shelley Wright and Jim Gates of Newton, Iowa; several nieces, nephews and many friends in the Roane County community.
Arrangements are announced as follows: Saturday, May 21, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary; family invites friends to a celebration of life memorial service at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Anthony Nelson officiating.
Private family interment will be held at a later date.
