Mike was born August 18, 1957 in Plant City, Florida. He moved to Sarasota from Mulberry 23 years ago. Mike was a Real Estate Appraiser.
Mike was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Sarasota, but considered Willow Oak Baptist Church his home church. Mike was an avid Gator fan and his love for football was only surpassed by his love for his family, friends and Golden's.
Mike is preceded in death by his father Tom Gardner. His is survived by his wife of 34 years Linda Weeks Gardner, mother Nell Gardner, mother & father in-law Jerry & Roberta Weeks, sisters-in-law Sharon Wheeler, Susan (Rocky) Bryan, niece Caitlin Wheeler, godson Andrew Michael Coulter and also his beloved golden retrievers Tyler & Tanner.
The family will receive friends Saturday May 21, 2016 at Willow Oak Baptist Church (3390 Willow Oak Rd. Mulberry, Fl. 33860) from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M.
