Mrs. W.E. Davis Dies Following Lengthy Illness
Mrs. Nannie A. Davis, 54, died at her home, 1012 West Second St, at 3:30 yesterday afternoon following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Georgia and moved to Lakeland 15 years ago.
Survivors include: The husband, W.E. Davis; two daughters, Mrs. Maybelle Wilkes, of Lakeland and Mrs. Clara Willis of Altha; five sons, Roy Davis, of Joplin, Mo and R.H., Robert, George and Charlie Davis of Lakeland; two brothers, Robert Hindman of Georgia and Hugh Hindman of Alabama; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Carden and Mrs. Lula Morgan, both of Georgia.
Services are to be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Myrtle Street Methodist Church with Rev. J.B Reid, pastor, officiating. Interment is to be in Socrum cemetery. Futch-Steen funeral home in charge.
