He was born in Anderson on December 3, 1960, the son of Louie Dunn and Margaret “Zonelle” Gilbert Dunn of Anderson, for whom he had the privilege, honor, and joy of providing care for many years. Mr. Dunn was of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his family and will continue watching over them from above. His interests included sports, cinema, and reading.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Jill Smith Dunn of Anderson; a son, Gregory Heath Dunn of Anderson; two brothers, Randy Dunn (Donna) and Ken Dunn (Marilyn) both of Anderson; two nephews, Caleb Dunn (Natascha) and Reid Dunn; one niece, Amber Powell (Russell); and great-nephews, Aiden and Mason; and great-nieces, Ireland and Kensley.
A funeral service to celebrate and honor the life of Gregg Dunn will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
