Bruno E. Amyot, DDS, 85, was the son of the late Bruno and Eveline Tessier Amyot. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, serving as Lt. Commander. He received his bachelor's degree at Manhattan College and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University. He was a fellow of the International College of Dentists. He was the Past President of St. Mary's Hospital medical and dental staff and was the first member of the hospital's medical staff to be appointed to the board of directors. He was the past president of the Troy Dental Study Club and the Third District Dental Society. He served for eight years on the Board of Governors of the Dental Society of the State of New York and is a life member of the American Dental Association and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He had a dental practice in Cohoes from 1939 until he retired in 1986. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Cohoes and was Past President of the Parish council, he was a member of the Cohoes Council 192 Knights of Columbus and was a Past Faithful Navigator. He had been Past Exalted Ruler of the Cohoes Elks Lodge #1317. Survivors include his wife, the former Wilhemina Mossey Amyot; two sons; three daughters; a brother, E. LaSalle Amyot of Waterford; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Dr. Ridolph F. Amyot, Dr. Louis B. Amyot, Lucille Scully and Irene Amyot.
