Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Alice Bennett, wife of Elwin Bennett, a former resident of Elkhart, Texas and Palestine, Texas were held in Lafayette, Louisiana, Thursday in the Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Kathe) Begnaud, Mrs. George (Lynne) Gross, and Miss Ardra (Rene) Bennett, all of Lafayette; three sons, Lt. Steven Logan Bennett, with the Air Force in California, David Kennedy Bennett, and Miles Baily Bennett; five grandchildren, all of Lafayette; two sisters and two brothers.
