Linda Maude (Wade) Deimel, age 69, of West Salem, passed away at 12:15pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 at her residence in West Salem, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Thrasher Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park.

Linda was born on April 11, 1947 in Richland County, the daughter of Forrest and Evelyn (Myers) Wade.

She was a caregiver for many years, and helped in the community. She was a member of Wynoose Christian Church, as well as the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Wendelin. Linda also enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, crocheting, sewing, quilting, cooking, and watching the Food Network’s
“Chopped.” She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her daughter Kellie Griffith of Xenia and son Forrest Deimel of West Salem; brother Jerry Wade and wife Shirley of Oklahoma; sister Amber Walker of Noble. 2 grandchildren, Jasmine Morgan and Jasinda Griffith; several nieces and nephews and her special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Evelyn (Myers) Wade; 2 sisters; brother; infant brother and infant sister.
