Fannie “Betty” Beth Davis, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 15, 2016. She was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas on May 10, 1930 to Leona Bess Drescher Shore and Ivan Mercer Shore, Sr.

She enjoyed bingo, and playing cards but most of all, spending time with her family, especially her sister, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchild. She was a sweet, loving , strong person who always cared for others before herself. She was known as everybody’s granny and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herman Earl Davis; her daughters, Wanda Davis Davenport and infant Beverly Ann Davis; her sister, Mary Margaret Shore Deen and her brothers, Ivan “Sonny” Mercer Shore Jr., Bobby Shore and Carl “Pete” Shore.

Betty is survived by her grandchildren, Kevin Davenport (and wife, Kristy) and Lori Emerson (and husband, Brent); her great-grandchildren, Brittney and Hayden Davenport, Dillon Chapman, Shayne, Cody and Nicole Neal, Koby, Kooper and Kase Emerson and her great-great-granddaughter, Laila Garcia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Wednesday May 18, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by services in the funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery.
