She was the daughter of Thomas and Rose Legate. Wife of Myron and mother of Raymond and Arnold.

Mrs. Alderson rites held here Tuesday
Final rites for Mrs. Ella Alderson, 72, were held Tuesday afternoon in the McCullough funeral chapel. Rev. Newton Coughenour officiated and burial was in the Fenton cemetery.
Mrs. Alderson died Sunday at St. Ann hospital where she had been a patient for one week. She had been in ill health for the past several years.
She was born at Lexington, Mo. The daughter of Thomas and Rose Legate, on March 16,1888. On Feb. 5,1907, she was married to Myron Alders on at Fenton. The couple moved to Algona four years ago after farming in the Fenton area for many years and also living at Ruthven for some years, where they operated several businesses.
The husband survives as well as two sons, Ray and Arnold of Algona; plus three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dempsey, Armstrong; Mrs.Ed Reid, Bell, Calif.; and Mrs Robert Hanson, Kansas City, MO.
Serving as pallbearers were Allen Bullock, Frank Hofius, Mel Bay, Leo Immerfall, Marc Moore and V. L. Gunder.
