Esther A. Meuser of Rochester Hills, Michigan died May 7, 2016 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. She was 97 years old. Esther was born on July 17, 1918 in Hubbard Lake, Michigan to parents, Lillie (nee Eller) and Alfred Robbins.

Esther married William J. Meuser in 1939. Esther enjoyed playing bridge and was proud to have achieved the ranking of Master. She was also a bridge instructor at the community center. She loved to travel and spent time travelling all over the world. Most of all, Esther enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Esther was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Esther is survived by her loving son, William W. (Maureen) Meuser and her cherished grandchildren, Jeremy D. and Brian J. Meuser. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Esther is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. and her siblings, Fred "Wes" (Lillian) Robbins, Leonard (Ada) Robbins, Gertrude (Clayton) McDowell, and Milburn β€œPete” (Jane) Robbins.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3400 S Adams Rd, Auburn Hills, Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 9am. Friends may visit beginning at 8:30am.

Interment will be in the Mausoleum at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
