Jennifer Nicole Huddle Edwards, 45, of Mount Airy, NC passed on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. She was born on September 3, 1970 to Damaris Ireland Huddle and Gideon Conway Huddle.
Mrs. Edwards was a 1988 graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School and a 1993 graduate of Elon College, now Elon University where she belonged to the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services. Currently she was employed with the Surry County Health and Nutrition Center as a Social Worker/Case Manager for sixteen years.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ronnie Edwards and daughter, Amelia Ireland Edwards both of the residence; son, John Ethan Edwards of Winston-Salem, NC; and sisters, Candace Huddle Payne of Hickory, NC and Kristi Huddle Ashworth of Spencer, VA.
A private burial will be held. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Rev. Larry Cheek officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the church Social Hall.
