A service honoring the life of Karen Sue John Knight will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Vancouver, Wash.

Karen Sue passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in Vancouver.

Karen Sue was born Oct. 11, 1941, in Lawton to Marvin Lewis and Wilma Faye Stephenson John. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1959. After her marriage, she moved to Oregon and worked for Tektronix. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She will be remembered for her friendliness and sweet, loving spirit.

She is survived by her husband, Theodore Knight; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Craig Wahlstrom and their daughters Ryan and Kylie, of Montgomery, Texas; grandson, Aaron Jacob Nelson, of Sandy, Ore.; paternal aunt and former Lawton resident, Leona John Evans, Clearwater, Fla.; and several cousins in Lawton and elsewhere.

Karen Sue was preceded in death by her parents.
