Her stories of Australia will be missed by everyone and her calling everyone "Love".
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, John, and thirteen brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her large loving family in Australia including sister, Evelyn Osborne and brother, Bob Darling-Filby; two daughters, Brenda of Natural Bridge and Barbara of Roanoke; daughter-in-law Bonnie of Collinsville, VA; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, including special great grandson, Brandon.
A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at High Bridge Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jason Grimes officiating. Burial will be private. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to High Bridge Presbyterian Church or to Natural Bridge First Responders.
