Mike D. Ainsworth, age 81 and a resident of Saucier, died on May 14, 2016, in Saucier.
Mike was born on April 4, 1935, in Simpson County. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 until 1964 and was discharged at the rank of Airman First Class (E-4).
He was preceded in death by parents; Alma Ainsworth and Leona Ainsworth; his wife, Helen Ainsworth (they were married for 57 years); his brothers, W.E. Ainsworth and Joe Ainsworth; his sister, Gene Davis, and a son, Victor Ainsworth.
Mike is survived by his sons, (LIVING) ((LIVING)) Ainsworth and (LIVING) ((LIVING)) Ainsworth; his daughter, (LIVING) ((LIVING)) Trehern; his sisters, (LIVING) Smith, (LIVING) ((LIVING)) (LIVING), and (LIVING) ((LIVING)) Day; his brother, (LIVING) ((LIVING)) Ainsworth; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, from 11am until 1pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at Biloxi National Cemetery.
