Mrs. Rena Chandler Miller, 90, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Monday, March 04, 2013 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Dilday – Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Long Rock Cemetery. Brother Johnny Boyd will officiate the services.
Mrs. Miller was born May 30, 1922, in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Amon and Ruth Chandler. She was a member of the Eastview Baptist Church and a retired employee of Henry I. Siegel. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bill Melton, three brothers, Kenneth Chandler, Wallace Chandler, Alden Chandler, two sisters, Covie Chandler and Alice Kirksey.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky Melton, of Buena Vista, Tennessee, Nellie (Scotty) Bailey, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, a son, Harlon (Vicki) Miller, of Buena Vista, Tennessee, a brother, Rodney Chandler, of McKenzie, Tennessee, and a sister, Ivy (William) Smith, of McKenzie, Tennessee. She also leaves four grandchildren, Tracy (Robin) Jones, of Jackson, Tennessee, Scotty Bailey, II, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, April (Tim) Qualls, of Buena Vista, Tennessee, Amon Miller, of West Virginia, eight great grandchildren, Jada and Jordan Jones, Keleah, Macee, Ryleigh and Alyssa Bailey, Emma Qualls and Kyle Miller.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 PM till 8 PM at Dilday – Carter Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 8 AM till time of services.
