Amber Jo May, 25, of Saginaw passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Saginaw as a result of her lifelong medical condition.
Amber was born in Alpena on June 22, 1990. She attended Alpena Public Schools graduating in the Class of 2008 and later with an associate’s degree in journalism from Gainesville Community College. Amber worked as a veterinary assistant in Saginaw. She was an avid photographer and loved all animals. Amber was loving and full of life.
Surviving are her parents, Frank and Daniell (Fessler) May; 2 siblings, Jared (Morgan Meredith) May, Cassidy May; Amber’s fiancé, Tylor Leston; grandparents, Charles and Marvis May, Patricia Fessler; Godparents, David Fessler, Mary Donakowski; special aunt, Brandy Allen; special cousins, Jessica and Aubrie Donakowski, Melanie and Christine Cappell; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amber was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Emma and her grandfather, Daniel Fessler.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Polycarp Mblarawa officiating.
