Anna Budge Graham
1925 - 2016
Anna Naser Budge Graham was born at home on the family ranch in Fairfield. After high school, she attended nursing school at St. Luke's, graduating in 1946. She began working in the hospital OB department and was later hired by ObGyn Dr. Bruce Budge. In 1953, she and Dr. Budge were married, though she continued working in the office until her daughter Ann was born in 1955. Dr. Budge died of ALS about 15 years later and she cared for her daughter Ann for 23 years until she died of cystic fibrosis in 1978. Many years later, she married a childhood friend, Chester Graham of Boise. They had a good life until he was diagnosed with cancer and died in 2001. Anna, a sweet and caring lady, passed away peacefully Friday, May 6, 2016.
She was put to rest surrounded with family and friends at Cloverdale Mortuary. She is survived by her sister May (Melvin) Heacock of Gooding and two nephews Mel and Allen. We wish to thank Legacy Hospice and Comfort Keepers, especially Gwen Wyatt and Tressa McGraw, along with the excellent facilities at Touchmark.
Any remembrances may be sent to the Anna Budge Graham Endowed Scholarship, School of Nursing, Boise State University Foundation, 2225 University Dr., Boise, ID 83706.
