She worked as office help for several companies in Freeport and later at St. Vincent DePaul in Monroe. Joyce was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church. She is survived by her brother. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, William, and sister-in-law. Graveside service May 24, 2016 at Grandview Cemetery in Freeport, IL. Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home.
