Freda Karen Goodman, 68, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Baptist Health Madisonville.
She was born on December 18, 1947 in St. Charles, KY to the late Edna Franklin Brackett and Lemon Brackett. Freda retired as an assistant manager from Peebles and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Goodman; brothers, Ray, Billy, Norris and Bobby Brackett; and sisters, Bettie Wray and Faye Bumpus.
Survivors include her daughter, Bridgett Cline and husband, Ron of Madisonville; sister, Linda Pendley; grandsons, Christopher Davis and wife, Ali and Cameron Cline; niece and caregiver, Lisa Downey; great-nephew, Blake Winningham; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Chris Goodman officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Randy King, Michael Carter, Marty Hollis, Cameron Cline, Blake Winningham and Christopher Davis.
