Funeral Services for Ms. Angie Lynn Hooker White, 70, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Mike Kellett officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Monroe, LA.

Ms. White was born on November 9, 1945 and passed away on May 14, 2016 at the West Monroe Guest House. She worked as a CNA for the West Monroe Guest House up until her retirement. Ms. White loved loving and caring for many people and always wanted to help others. She loved spending time with her family, and always wanted the best for her children. Ms. White loved listening to them sing and play music, especially country and bluegrass. Ms. White loved fishing and flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Angie Hooker; her former husband, Roy Davis; and her grandchildren, Steven Ray Blake and Jamie Star.

Survivors include her children, Patrick Allen Davis and wife, Terisa, Sara Lynn Davis, Danny Ray Davis, and Natalie L. Davis; fifteen grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren with one on the way; brother, George P. Hooker, Jr.; sisters, Virginia Ann Lenard and Alisa Kay Simmons and husband, Gary; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Missions at Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Administrative Staff and Nursing Staff at the West Monroe Guest House for the love and care they gave to Ms. White.

In her last years, her love for the Lord grew more and more everyday and we celebrate her life as she has entered into Heaven’s gates.Angie Lynn Hooker White
