Services for Jay "J.J." Richardson, 25, of Rusk, TX, and formerly of Palestine, TX, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Revs. Jeff Richardson and Barbara Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Park.

Mr. Richardson died Sunday. He was born in Palestine on June 3, 1969. He graduated from Palestine High School in 1987, and was a student at the University of Texas at Tyler.

He is survived by his wife Tina Richardson of Rusk; his mother, Patricia Jeffcoat of Rusk; his father, Jerry Richardson of Palestine; son, Tarin Jacob Richardson of Rusk; grandmothers, Ruth Ford of Rusk and Erma Richardson of Palestine; brothers, John Clay Richardson of Palestine, and Jerry Chris Richardson of Jacksonville and Justin Jeffcoat of Rusk; stepsister, Kristi Timmons of Oakwood; and a stepbrother, Jason Starr of Palestine.

Pallbearers will be Brad Andrews, Mitchell Herbrough, Matt Herbrough, Bart Norton, Marlon Cooper, Dave McCrary, Lee McCrary, Matt Branton and Al King.

Condolence calls will be received from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
