Larry D. Beck, age 51 of Denver, Colorado, and a former Marceline Resident, passed away Saturday May 14, 2016 at Saint Lukes Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday May 18, 2016 at the Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. There will be no Funeral Service or Burial. (There will be a Motorcycle ride at a later date, ending in Marceline, Celebrating Larry's Life) Larry was born on May 14, 1965 in Independence, Missouri to Carolyn Warner Hicks. On July 18, 1987 Larry was united in marriage to Kimberly Stonger, in Marceline. Larry was a Pressman, having worked in the printing Industry for many years. Larry was a 1984 Graduate of Marceline High School, and he was a Christian. While living in Denver, Larry and Kim remained Avid Kansas City Chiefs Fans. Survivors include his wife Kim of the home in Denver, CO., One Daughter, Lindie Romero and husband Stephen of Denver, Two Grandsons, Ayden and Liam Romero, His Mother and Father-in-Law, Janice and Gary Merritt of Brookfield, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother on August 23, 2010. The family has suggested memorials to help cover Funeral Expenses, these may be sent to Delaney Funeral Home, 1720 North Missouri Ave. Marceline, MO 64658.
