HANSEN, SR. ANGELA MARIE (Mary Margaret), 82 - died September 7, 2005. She was a Sister of the Blessed Sacrament for over 58 years.
Born January 21, 1923 in College Point, NY, she was one of five children. Sister served in the Black and Native American missions, as an educator in grades 5 through 12. She was missioned in LA, VA, NY and PA. Sister also taught art for 23 years in St. Catherine Indian School, Santa Fe, NM.
Sister returned to the Motherhouse in 1991 and served as a driver for St Elizabeth Convent and took care of the plants and flowers at the Motherhouse until 1999, when she entered St. Michael Infirmary.
Funeral Mass was held at the Motherhouse chapel of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, Cornwells Heights, PA and interment was in the Motherhouse cemetery.
Surviving are: brothers, Robert, and Roscoe & his wife Catherine, and several nieces and nephews.
