Mrs. Lottie Eva Prater Ramsay, 78, of 744 Shull St., West Columbia, died Wednesday in Providence Hospital. Mrs. Ramsay was the widow of T. P. Ramsay and was born in Saluda County, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Nancy Esther Britt Prater. She had lived in Columbia and West Columbia for a number of years and was a member of Brookland United Methodist church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Johnson of West Columbia, Mrs. J. H. Ayer of Denmark, Mrs. F. L. Smith of Whiteville [Blackville]and Mrs. J. Francis Coker of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Clara McCarty of Batesburg; and two brothers, Barney B. and Otis Prater of Batesburg.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Thompson Funeral Home in West Columbia, conducted by the Rev. Denver S. Lee and the Rev. Joseph C. Derrick. Burial will be in Batesburg City Cemetery in Batesburg.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Eva Prater Ramsay were held today in Thompson Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Denver S. Lee and the Rev. Joseph C. Derrick. Burial was in Batesburg City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were J. V. Johnson, Lannie Smith, Tommie Smith, Gregory Coker, Steven Coker and William Ramsay.

Mrs. Ramsay died Wednesday.
