Glenna Lorraine Cramer Oswald, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother died peacefully on Friday May 13, 2016, after suffering a massive stroke the previous day.

She was born in Ucon, Idaho, the daughter of Walter Peter Cramer and Amy Elizabeth Rawle, in 1934. She was the 6th child of 13 children, 11 of whom lived to adulthood.

She married Darwin Vallee Oswald in April 1952 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, one brother, and one son, Jeffrey Lynn Oswald.

She is survived by her children: Karen (Kevin) McGinnis, Susan (Boyd) Nance, David (Ethel Lemon) Oswald, and Linda (Dirk) Thurgood. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one 2nd great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. at 11 a.m. on Thursday 19 May with a viewing preceding the services from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with Bishop Kenyon Thompson of the Ogden 4th Ward of the LDS Church officiating. There will also be a viewing Wednesday evening, 18 May from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road in South Ogden.
