Visitation will be observed on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 11:00 am until the time of services, at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Entombment will follow in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.
Reverend Fred Fraser of First United Methodist Church in Lafayette will officiate.
Nadine was born December 29, 1925 in Florien, LA and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. Nadine was a parishioner of First United Methodist Church in Lafayette.
She was an avid traveler. Nadine enjoyed going fishing and cooking for her family. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and her friends.
Nadine is survived by her daughter, Diane Wilkins and her husband, Haley of Chattanooga, TN; her granddaughter, Christine Goodwin and her husband, Darrell also of Chattanooga, TN; her grandson, Jay J. Cook of Monroe, LA; her sister, Louise Ross of Port Neches, TX and her brother, Roland Taylor of Orange, TX.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Hiel Jennings “H.J.” Cook; her parents, Luther Taylor and Gladys Marie Miller Taylor; her son, Jerry J. Cook and her brother, Lucien Taylor.
