MARILYN SUE (SMITH) BOONE was born in Frankfort, Dec 17, 1937, the daughter of Mrs. Mary Huffer and Merle Smith, both of Frankfort. She had made her home with her mother and stepfather, John Huffer, 56 W. Meredith, for the past 11 years.
She was married to Herbert Boone on Oct 7, 1955, while he was home on a 30 day furlough. Her husband had been stationed in Mexico two years and had been shipped to Guam since returning to duty on Oct 12.
Mrs. Boone was employed at the Frankfort Poultry House.
Surviving besides the husband and parents are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Land and Mrs. Gertrude Schimmel, both of Frankfort; a half sister, Sue Ann Smith, and two brothers, Merlyn Ray Smith and Kenneth Leon Smith, both of Frankfort.
Funeral arrangements are pending on word from the husband.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn Sue (Smith) Boone, who was found dead with three other young people Monday morning in a car near Frankfort, have been tentatively set for 2 p.m. Thursday.
The services will be conducted at the Hartman Funeral Home with the Rev. C.W. Snider officiating. Interment will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time.
