Bertha Anderson 79, died Saturday, June 14,2003 at her home in Libby.

A service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Libby Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Kevin Lindgren officiating. Private Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Havre.

She was born on Feb. 29,1924, on the family homestead near Gildford to Peder and Anna Mork.

She met Dell Anderson and they were married on Jan. 11,1944 at Great Falls.

They lived at Gildford and farmed on the Anderson homestead six miles south of town until selling the farm in 1967. They bought a café in Gildford and operated it until his death in 1975. She later moved to Libby.

She enjoyed her family especially being a grandmother. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and quilting.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Dell Anderson, brothers, Arthur Evan and Bjarne and sisters Agnes Borghild, Eva and Ida.

Survivors include her son, Brian (Paige) Anderson, of Libby three grandchildren, companion of 29 years, Ronald M. Parker, also of Libby and numerous nephews and nieces.

Memorials may be made to the Libby Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 796, Libby, Mt. 59923.

Arrangements are by Nelson and Vial Funeral Home.
