Married Greenvile Preston, Sr. on July 30, 1837, Floyd Co., KY., son of Moses Preston and Elizabeth Haney.
After Exer died, Greenville moved all of his family to TX. Greenville lived east of the Rondo Methodist Church. His son (Moses) and two of Moses' children are buried in Rondo Cemetery. The tombstone says the following: "About 1890 Greenville and Clarissa moved to the Eylau community in Bowie Co., TX and homestead about 35 acres there.Here he built a house and farm buildings and lived on this property until his death -15 July 1902."
