ROCKVILLE- Sondra Kay Powell, 73, of Rockville, Indiana died at 5:59 pm Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Clinton Gardens in Clinton.
She was a retired office manager for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company in Montezuma.
She was born February 28, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to the late Floyd F. Cushman and Ruby Williams Cushman. Her husband of 55 years, Clyde Powell whom she married November 27, 1960 in Fairfield, Illinois died February 12, 2016.
Survivors include two sons, Brent Powell and family of Clinton and Brian (Kris) Powell of Rockville; two brothers, Richard (Nancy) Cushman of Marshall, Illinois and Walt (Dani) Cushman of Stockbridge, Georgia; two grandsons, Adam (Fiancée Katie) Powell of Birmingham, Alabama and Logan Powell of Rockville; several nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Casey (IL) High School. She was a member of the Rockville Christian Church and a former member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Beta Phi Sorority in Rockville.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm (EDT) Thursday, May 19, at Hammack Cemetery in Springerton, Illinois. Burial will follow.
