Her memorial will be a celebration of her life 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst with inurnment at Bear Creek Cemetery at a later date.
Elaine was born July 6, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the last of 6 children born to the late Edmund and Mamie Wright.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Ronnie Watson; sons, Shawn and Shane Maynor and Karla Lewis Schafer; daughter, Shanda Logan and husband Christopher; grandchildren, Christopher Maynor, Seth Maynor, Melea Maynor, Grant Maynor and Briana Maynor; brother, James Wright; sister, Martha Brantley; and many other loving family members and friends.
Elaine was a kind hearted woman that always had the time and a word of advice and encouragement for everyone. She had a love for all God's creatures, especially her cats. As the families' resident "Cat Lady" she nurse to health and found loving homes for many of the strays that found their way into her heart and home.
She was a bookkeeper and accountant by trade for many years while also rearing her 3 precious children. Elaine was a private and no nonsense lady with a true heart of gold. Her love and compassion will live on in the memories of her family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
