Kevin M. Beck, 64, Galveston, passed away Wednesday evening, May 11, 2016, at his residence. He was born Jan. 15, 1952, in Logansport to Max D. and Eldonna (Butts) Beck.
Kevin worked for Complete Commercial Roofing. He had served in many capacities in the roofing business since 1971, such as bidding and estimating roofing jobs. He graduated from Lewis Cass High School and attended Ball State University. Kevin was a member of Center United Methodist Church and enjoyed farming and Formula One racing. He served as a mechanic for several Formula One racing teams.
Surviving family include his mother, Eldonna Beck, Galveston; sisters, Cindy Martz, Goshen, and Myla and Rick Cohee, Galveston; nieces and nephews, Monica (Ken) Holmes, Michelle (John) Oyer Fowler, Jason Cohee, Michael (Melissa) Cohee and Matthew (Kristin) Cohee; great-nieces and great-nephews, Katie, Kyle and Rachael Holmes, Nick, Jessica and Zachary Oyer, Kenny (Sarah) Holmes, Evan, Cameron, Elizabeth and Katherine Cohee; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Chloe Nolen, Kenny, Bradley and Addison Holmes and Abbigail and Caroline Fowler. He kept watch over his special great-nephew, Max Cohee, at the St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis. He is also survived by special cousins, Donnie Beck and Barb Elkins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Max Beck, grandparents, and cousin, Eddie Beck.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, at Center United Methodist Church near Young America, with the Rev. John Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Center UB Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m., one hour before services at the church.

Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston is in charge of arrangements.
